SUPERIOR FLIGHT TIME

Dronee Plane is supplied with two state of the art 3-cell lithium ion battery packs and utilizes a high-performance electric motor. Each battery provides up to 55min of flight time, dependent on weather conditions and the camera used. This means almost 2-hours, using the two batteries supplied with the drone. You have the option to buy additional batteries to increase working time. This will allow you to work in the field for as long as it is required.

COVERAGE

Your coverage will depend on the resolution and overlap that you require. Highest resolution you can achieve with Sony RX0 is 1.5cm/px (0.6"/px). The Dronee Plane can achieve a front overlap of more than 95%.

Orthomosaic processing services require a side overlap of at least 60%.

AUTO-CONTINUE

What if you need to cover a larger area? Yet, you are not limited to using just a single battery and this means that you can cover any size area, equivalent to the amount of batteries that you use.

Dronee AUTOCONTINUE will store the position of the last location where the battery was functioning. When the battery is replaced, it will return to this position and resume where it left off.

NEVER LOST

To help you cover a larger area, the ZOON NeverLOST technology allows for an incredible working range of up to 11km (6.84mi). This smart technology increases the receiver sensitivity by dynamically altering the frequency modulation. This allows for the accurate transmission and receiving of data over the largest possible area.

WIRELESS BASE STATION

Using Wi Fi technology, your tablet connects to HUB without any cables. This allows you to communicate with the drone using a telemetry signal. The HUB also acts as your Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) Base Station. Affording you the best precision with absolute ease of use the internal HUB battery will keep working for up to 20-hours on a single charge.It even can be charged with 5V microUSB charger inside your car. No downtime means improved productivity.




PRECISION

You can choose the Dronee Plane version to meet your specific requirements.

 

DRONEE REGULAR is the most basic format, allowing for an orthomosaic position accuracy down to 2.5m (8.2ft). 

 

ACCURATE version takes orthomosaic position accuracy down to 50cm (19.6in).

 

RTK/PPK offers the ultimate in accuracy and precision, using double frequency (L1/L2, E1/E5, B1/B5) multi-GNSS. This easily compensates for the shape of the ionosphere, eliminating resultant errors. This double frequency multi-GNSS system has incredible position accuracy, and less than 20 secs convergence time. For high precision survey tasks, you probably won't require GCPs. As it is, DRONEE RTK precision is already down to 1cm (0.4in) + 1 ppm.

In addition to this, our PPK software can reduce the error margin down to 0.8cm (0.3in).

DRONEE PPK software is compatible with third party providers, allowing you to use custom ephemeris data (RINEX v3). Simply download your data, then drag-and-drop into your Dronee PPK application. You can obtain your GNSS data (RINEX v3) directly from the drone, that can be used with the post processing service of your choice for your geodesic application.

LOW LATENCY RTK

When it comes to RTK and its high precision,RTCM(RTK) data synchronization latency is one of the critical factors to help RTK GPS to position itself precisely.

(OR)Not all RTK systems transmits RTCM(RTK) data within required latency.

As most of the telemetry systems in the market, because of their buffering nature will transmit data a bit delayed, sometimes even more than 50ms latency. Thanks to DRONEE’s in house ZOON technology that is agnostic to RTCM data packets which synchronizes RTCM(RTK) packets between base station and the drone with less than 1ms latency.

CONCURRENT MULTI GNSS RTK

As GNSS(Global Navigation Satellite System) satellites are distributed and moving around the globe. It might not always be feasible to get required GNSS signals from a single GNSS as much as it is needed to achieve high precision results. To achieve high precision survey results,all the time, it is very essential to receive satellite signals from all the GNSS satellites concurrently (or in parallel). Dronee’s RTK system receives GNSS signals from 5 GNSS  simultaneously to give better results always.

CORS NTRIP SERVICE

The Dronee RTK/PPK version offers you the very best multi-GNSS RTK Base Station. Yet we realize that users may be required to use an existing CORS NTRIP service or may just want to use a service to supplement the Dronee system. We've made this is easy to do. Simply enter the IP address and login parameters using the settings page. These RTCP data packets will be forwarded to the drone through the Dronee HUB in real-time.

Only RTCM v3.3 enabled services are supported.




CAMERA LOCATION ADJUSTMENT

In most RTK systems you will only get the coordinate of the Antenna Center that receives GNSS signals.As we are well aware of our system, where precisely camera sensor is located,We already adjust the coordinate of the taken image in millimetric precision.

Output coordinate system is in WGS84.

TERRAIN FOLLOW

The Dronee Plane will always maintain a constant altitude relative to the terrain. As the terrain rises and dips, the Plane will adjust the altitude, keeping the distance between the camera and the ground constant at all times.

The Dronee App will automatically download the required data from Google Elevation. If you don't have an internet connection in the survey zone, there's no need to worry. The Dronee APP caches elevation data and retrieves this information from the memory when needed.

CORRIDOR MAPPING

Corridor Mapping tool allows user to easily generate mission to survey roads, coastal lines, borders effortlessly, just by adding points over the line, DRONEE APP will automatically generate flight path.With two fingers, you can drag to indicate the number of strides within the corridor mission.

EASY TAKEOFF

Even if you've never flown a wing drone, you will have no problems getting the Dronee Plane airborne.

Since it weighs only 650gr (22.9oz), it's easy enough to lift the Dronee and toss it into the air. Start by entering the mission data and you're ready to go. If there is a wind, turn the Plane toward the prevailing wind. Shake the drone to start the motors and throw it forward (horizontally). From here on the Dronee autopilot takes control. It will first ascend to an altitude of 30m (98ft) at a 30º angle, after which it will spiral up to the mission altitude and continue with the preprogrammed mission plan.

SAFE AUTO LANDING

Dronee software automatically, and accurately lands the drone to the selected landing spot. Select your landing spot on the map and the angle. The Drone will then calculate the selected angle of descent at a distance of 350m (1150ft) from the desired landing spot, from an altitude of 50m (164ft). It will then glide safely to the ground and land within 5m (16ft) of the programmed landing spot.

BATTERY FAILSAFE RETURN

Your planned mission may often exceed what can be achieved on a single battery. The last thing you want is for your Drone to abort the flight when the battery runs flat. The estimated flight time of 55-minutes is calculated at 60% of the battery capacity, leaving 40% for a safe return. When the computer detects low battery standby time, it will record the current position and proceed on the shortest path to the predefined landing spot with the preselected angle. You can then replace the battery and the DRONE will return to the position where it left off and continue the mission as planned.




NO PITOT TUBE

Since the early days of aviation, pitot tubes have been used to measure airspeed. Pitot tubes are notoriously unreliable, prone to calibration errors and blockages. Thankfully advanced high-speed GPS technology now allows us to eliminate this danger. The information derived from our world class GPS system is within accepted parameters to safely navigate a wing drone.

AUTO CALIBRATION

Calibration is essential for good flights,but it is also a hassle to make it everytime properly. Drone’s Auto Calibration makes it automatically every time you plug the drone into battery for 30sec. All you have to put the drone to flat surface and wait for 30sec to autocalibration be done.Drone icon in the app will blink until calibration is done properly and GPS precision becomes fair enough to make accurate survey flights. In fact drone will not fly if something fails in these automatic preflight calibration process.

EASY MISSION PLANNING

The Dronee APP is designed for complete ease of use. Using your fingers, you can tap on your tablet screen to set points. Swipe across the map to change the polygon shape and adjust stride angles during flight as you rotate the image. The Dronee APP allows you to add fragmented, or  multiple missions with complete ease. You can record and change the order of these flights as needed.

 

ROUTE OPTIMIZATION

Changing wind conditions can affect the ability of a wing drone to make accurate turns.This will, in turn, may affect the quality of the collected data. Using a smart route optimizing algorithm, the Dronee will factor in wind conditions to ensure the good quality of survey data.

PAUSE/CONTINUE

If, for whatever reason, you need to pause the flight mission, this can be done with a single touch to the PAUSE button. Plane will loiter in its coordinate and you can then resume the flight in the same way with PLAY button.

STAY IN CONTROL

Even though sophisticated Dronee automation does all the flying for you, there may be times when you need to take manual control. The app allows you to do this at any time during the pre-programmed flight. The virtual cockpit gives you control over pitch and roll using a joystick on your tablet.

Dronee Plane is designed for easy operation of the ultra-durable Sony RX0 Drone camera. With its exceptional Zeiss lens, 21MP resolution, 3:2 aspect ratio, and super accurate 1.0” Exmor RS CMOS sensor, this is the recommended camera for optimal results when using our winged drone. To make using the Sony camera as convenient as possible. All you need to do is activate the camera's Wi Fi mode and the Dronee will connect automatically. When it comes to surveying seeing real time camera status and its triggering success and failure is essential for the successful survey tasks.Thanks to Sony RX0 feedback mechanism now you can see realtime camera connection status and photo triggering success and failure(even if it fails for some reason)

AGRICULTURE CAMERA

Dronee Plane’s compartment board is designed to carry Sequoia Parrot Camera for your multispectral survey tasks. Its external USB power port allows camera to take operational power from the drone itself.You can survey agricultural areas with Multispectral cameras and generate maps such as NDVI,CHLOROPHYL etc.

You should buy REGULAR version if and only if you will use drone with Parrot Sequoia Camera.

KML/SHAPEFILE SUPPORT

KML and Shapefiles can be essential to your business workflow. Dronee app supports both KML/KMZ and Shapefile formats.If you want to survey  to a selected area that is in KML/KMZ/SHAPEFILE, all you have to send this file to your tablet and open it with Dronee App, and in your mission page your will see the KML area is drawed.

EASY SURVEY CONFIGURATION

The Dronee APP has made it incredibly easy to set your parameters once and use these for all your flights. Set your front overlap, side overlap, outer buffer area, and the Dronee APP will do all the rest,calculate and display your flight altitude, sidle overlap distance, and trigger interval. This will be

automatically applied to all survey missions.

 

GEOFENCE

DRONEE comes with Geofence capability to limit your flight in extreme emergency cases,or there might also be regulation to use geofence in your flights,All you have to set is maximum flight altitude and the radius of the Geofence which Dronee will set a boundary circle around your mission.If the drone exceeds the Geofence settings, it will end the mission and return to the predetermined landing spot.

LIGHT RAIN PROTECTION

Sometimes in the middle of your survey flight,the rain might start (out of your control). NO WORRIES! DRONEE can even fly in light rain! Eventhough all the electronics are embedded inside EPP foam body, they are also covered with  water resistant silicone coating to make extra layer of safety from the rain.
